Bolgheri DOC area on the coast of Upper Maremma. Soil of sandy-clay; silty-clay to fine gravel.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah
Selected grapes in different fases.
Fermentation for a period of 15-20 days in stainless steel tanks. Filtration from its skins, the wine ferments (malolactic fermentation)
Refining 1 year in new small oak barrels.
Blending and aging for 6 months.
Intense ruby red color.
Notes of fruit and sweet spices: plums, blueberry jam, leather, liquorices root, and some balsamic as mint.
The palate is long and dynamic, accompanied by supple and elegant tannins and, once again, balsamic notes.
Food pairing and serving
Idearl with game dishes, beef and lamb.
Best served at 18°C or serve at room temperature after oxigenation.
