Selected grapes harvested by hand.
Drying, “Appassimento” with the traditional method in the “Fruttai”. Grapes are crushed and fermented traditionally at low temperature with spontaneous fermentation for 25 days.
Refine in barriques for 24 months.
In bottle another 10 months.
Deep garnet red.
The fragrance is intense and ethereal with notes of spices.
The taste is full and harmonious, with great softness and balance.
Food pairing and serving
This structured, austere wine goes well with game, braised meat, rare red meat and matured cheeses.
Best served at 18°C after proper oxigenation.
