The company is harmoniously placed in the hills of Tufo
The Agricola Torricino rediscovers which name comes from the old medieval tower that the company site overlooked, for centuries to protect the castle of Tufo. The story is of a country on the edge of events, the constant struggle between man and nature, a history of earthquakes and migrations from a harsh and often desolate land; it is the history of Irpinia, of which Torricino is a proud ambassador. Tufo (tuff) has been linking its economy to the sulfur mines for years
discovered in 1866 and this explains why the sulfur and its humors are so rooted in the history of this country, so much so that they even find a subtle note of the Greco wine in the scent.
Torricino's philosophy is linked to strong and fundamental value, loyalty to its territory and the land handed down through the generations to protect a cultural identity.
Today the Di Marzo family is a story of strong men and women bound by love for the land, and the passion for growing the vineyard requires continuity in the project path of Maria Concetta, Stefano and Federica Di Marzo of the Azienda Agricola Torricino.
