Here, we set down our roots!
Lucchetti is a fourth-generation wine producer.
A family deeply rooted in its land and traditions, capable of producing a Verdicchio, a wine worthy of the name Classico Superiore (Classic Superior), made from grapes selected in the heart of the oldest vineyards, the Superiore. It’s a great expression of the Verdicchio grape’s potential. Produced from an ancient clone of Verdicchio vine, only a very small amount of this wine is made each year to ensure a level of very high quality.
The name “Verdicchio” is derived from the specific color of the grape, which retains a beautiful shade of green even when ripe. This is an indigenous white grape variety from the Marche region with a special concentration in the Castelli di Jesi area. In this area, the vine finds the highest qualitative expression, so much to be used for the production of both fresh and ready-made wines, and wines that are highly structured and have a remarkable longevity.
