The Sauvignon story is the story of our family.

Over a mosaic of several dozen plots spread over 72 hectares, the Famille Bourgeois illustrates all the nuances and reliefs of the flavors of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé.

It portrays his wines and tells their stories from their roots, penetrating deep into the heart of three types of soil present in the vineyard: clay-limestone, giving rise to fresh, fruity vintages; Kimmeridian marl, the memories of fossilized shells from the Jurassic Era that give intense flavors of exotic fruit and excellent structure; flint, which initiates elegant wines with smoky, toasty notes and minerality of great finesse.
Those fresh terroirs of the Loire provide wines with a great mineral feeling.
