Situated south of the city of Bordeaux, the Graves appellation is the third “family” in the wines of Bordeaux alongside the Médoc and Saint-Emilion.

The very gravely soil here gave the appellation its name; the wines that grow in it are exceptionally fruity, with plenty of body but always remarkably supple and often displaying great finesse.

Puy Laroque is absolutely typical of this renowned appellation.
