Identity is what makes this wine unique, recognizable and inimitable: the soil, the microclimate and the vine. However, identity is not only determined by nature, but also by the work of man.

Castello di Cacchiano produces a wide variety of wines, all of which are of excellent quality and always match the terroir.

First of all, there is the “Chianti Classico” D.O.C.G. which, depending on the characteristics of the grapes of each vintage, can be classified as “Chianti Classico Riserva”, which represents the most valuable selection. The “Castello di Cacchiano” wines are produced by the vinification of the best grapes that come exclusively from the vineyards owned by the farm. Bottling is carried out exclusively in the farm.

The production area is the plateau of Monti in Chianti. The soil composition, which is made of calcareous clay with significant areas of crumbled limestone and sandstone, represents an excellent substrate for the cultivation of vines.
