Time in the glass.
Casale della Ioria, located in the heart of Ciociaria (Lazio), in the DOCG production area Cesanese del Piglio, between Anagni and Paliano.
Hilly area with a special microclimate and history, where ancient vines and olive groves thrive, cultivated since the time of the Roman Empire.
In the hinterland of the Lazio region, south of Rome, is a hilly area called Ciociaria. It is an ideal habitat for vines and olive trees, which have been planted since the time of the Roman Empire. In this area, historical events and a special microclimate have inhibited the contamination of an indigenous ampelographic heritage, leaving us with a variety of ancient vines. The Casale della Ioria estate is located in the heart of the production area of the red wine Cesanese del Piglio d.o.c.g.
The vineyards and olive trees are about 400 meters above sea level, surrounded by forests. The farm is dedicated to the cultivation of the typical red grape varieties Cesanese, Olivella and the white Passerina.
