These are wines that will last for decades – if not centuries.
Biondi Santi is one of the most appealing producers of Brunello wine. Biondi Santi has been one of Tuscany’s leading wine producers for more than 150 years.
Biondi Santi’s Tenuta Greppo Brunello di Montalcino Annata is the result of 150 years of research and improvement of the Sangiovese Grosso grapes, selected from the grape vines of the Greppo vineyard.

The quality of Biondi Santi’s wines is so high that even the Brunello from 1891 (103 years old) was rated with 10 points, the highest rating. The current production level rarely exceeds 80,000 bottles, including about 10,000 bottles of riserva.

The grape harvest is carried out entirely by hand and usually starts in mid-September. The grapes are carried in baskets at the end of
the row of vines, where a group of grape pickers select the grapes, one by one, with the only one being the very best to go to the production of the
future Brunello.
